What is Autism Intervention Services (A.I.S.)?
- Assessment to determine eligibility for receipt of program services
- Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) programming to children who qualify for program services
- Psychosocial support services
- Transition to school support for children entering the school system
- Workshops for family members who wish to supplement their child's therapy
What is Included in the AIS Assessment?
The AIS Assessment team will conduct a comprehensive assessment of your child's areas of strengths, and the challenges he/she faces in order to determine eligibility and suitability for receipt of IBI services. More specifically, assessment covers the following areas:
- Cognition
- Communication
- Adaptive functioning
- Behaviour
