KidsAbility-Centre for Child Development is an accredited, charitable organization governed by an elected Board of Directors.
We are accountable to the provincial government that provides financial support for our services. We are mandated by the Ministry of Children & Youth Services.
Services are funded through grants from the provincial Ministries of Children & Youth Services, and Community and Social Services. Other services are funded by municipal governments.
Our services are also supported by the communities in which we operate through fundraising led by the KidsAbility Foundation.
We continue to have a special relationship with Rotary Clubs in Cambridge, Fergus-Elora, Guelph, Kitchener and Waterloo whose members contribute their time, talents and donations to help us achieve our mission in each of their communities.
In 2000 the KidsAbility Foundation became the fundraising arm of the organization. Through its annual “Kids Can’t Wait” campaign, the Foundation raises tremendous financial support for programs, services and innovation at KidsAbility, for which we are deeply grateful.
