- Benny’s Pond, located at the Waterloo site of KidsAbility, is a warm, shallow pool used for therapy sessions, therapeutic recreation programs, and for KidsAbility school swims
- The pool is also available for KidsAbility families and community schools to use
- Family swims occur on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 – 8:00pm, and families must book their swim in advance and attend a pool orientation (held once a month) prior to using the pool. The cost is $1 per swimmer or $3 per family
- The pool IS NOT supervised by a lifeguard; however volunteers are present to assist families. Parents are responsible for the supervision of children
- The change rooms are accessible and provide a large, raised changing surface. A pool chair (commode chair) is available on the pool deck. Pool toys and flotation devices are also available for use
