March Break 2012 Camps

Ready to Read - Is your child having difficulty reading at a senior kindergarten or grade one level? Are you looking for a way to show your child that reading can be FUN? Ready to Read is an exciting and engaging program designed to foster early literacy skills and enjoyment of reading! It is facilitated by a registered speech-language pathologist. Parents will love the detailed feedback and suggestions to try at home; kids will love making new friends and discovering the magic of reading! As this is a service provided by a registered speech-language pathologist, you may have coverage for this program through insurance or therapeutic funding! For details, see our brochure by clicking here!

Social Discovery - What is sarcasm? What's the big deal about ‘personal space’? How do I fit in? Social Discovery breaks down complex social nuances in a clear, logical, and fun way. Using theme-based activities, participants learn how to make friends, interact positively, and develop greater social awareness. Each child’s individual goals are identified in advance and programming is tailored to meet these goals. Our staff will provide you with detailed feedback to help generalize new skills to other environments like school! This group is for children ages 7 to 11! For details, see our brochure by clicking here!

Playtime Speech Academy - Does your child need support using language to communicate in a social setting? Playtime Speech Academy combines early social development with speech and language skills. In this group, kids ages 5-9 learn and practice functional language with their peers through games, stories, crafts, and gross motor play. The registered speech-language pathologist and teacher will work with you to develop individualized speech and social goals for your child. Programming during the camp will be tailored to work on identified goals. As this is a service provided by a registered speech-language pathologist, you may have coverage for this program through insurance or therapeutic funding! For details, see our brochure by clicking here!
