Offering Therapy Services to School-Aged Children in Waterloo and Cambridge!*
*Families from Wellington County are welcome to access services at either the Waterloo or Cambridge site location.
Firefly Therapy Services
A fee-for-service program within KidsAbility that allows us to expand our range of services while supporting the financial sustainability of the Centre. These services are offered to children and youth (ages 5+) who are not eligible to receive KidsAbility's funded services. We are excited to offer 1:1 Speech-Language Therapy, Group Therapy, Social Skills Programs, and Camps through Firefly Therapy Services.
Eligibility for Services
-The child is not on the waitlist for or currently receiving the same (or similar) service through KidsAbility's funded programs.
- For group therapy, the child must demonstrate the potential to benefit from the goals of the group therapy. A pre-registration screening will help to determine fit for
your child within this group as well as help our staff to tailor the content toward your child's specific goals.
- The child must be in the appropriate age category that has been selected for the specified type of therapy.
