Meet the Foundation Team
  Lisa Talbot
Executive Director
Lisa has worked for the Foundation since 2000 and has been involved in all areas of fundraising making her the veteran of the team. As the Executive Director, she is responsible for developing, implementing and managing a comprehensive development program that raises maximum funds and awareness in support of KidsAbility. Lisa is a member of the Waterloo Region Fund Raising Executives and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is a graduate of the University of Guelph and of Leadership Waterloo Region, a local leadership program. Her leadership has enabled KidsAbility Foundation to develop strong community support and KidsAbility to enhance its profile as an important, innovative and knowledge-sharing organization.
   
 
Gillian Flanagan
Development Officer
Gillian has a passion for community engagement and is our newest member to the Foundation Team. With a background in sales and an attention to providing superior customer service, her skills are a welcome addition as she works to empower donors and members of our community to help build a brighter future for children with special needs. Gillian is a graduate of University of Waterloo and obtained her master’s degree from York University. She is a member of the CAGP and brings years of enthusiasm to her role.
 

 

 

Dayna Giorgio
Donor Relations & Communications Officer
Dayna brings over 10 years of non-profit communications experience to her role of Donor Relations and Communications Officer. This role provides Dayna with the opportunity to promote KidsAbility through tours, speaking engagements, major fundraising events and by working with local media partners. Since Dayna began in 2007, she has been committed to building the profile of KidsAbility in our community as well as empowering donors to be agents of change. She is passionate about the work of KidsAbility and the children and youth with special needs who benefit from the life-changing therapy and support services at this remarkable organization. Dayna is a member of the Waterloo Wellington Fundraising Executives and the Association of Donor Relations Professionals.
 
Tamara Neill
Communications Coordinator
Tamara has been with KidsAbility Foundation for just over a year. In her role as Communications Coordinator, Tamara’s extensive knowledge of design software allows her to utilize her skills in assisting in the creation of a variety of communications materials. Her fresh and creative approach to communications, along with her marketing, social media and public relations experience, continues to assist in enhancing the profile of KidsAbility. Tamara is a proud graduate of the Advertising program at Conestoga College and has dabbled in a wide variety of industries prior to joining KidsAbility Foundation. She is thrilled to be part of such an amazing organization and incredibly supportive team!
 
Chris Voisin
Development Coordinator
Chris started part-time with the Foundation in 2004 covering a maternity leave, and
a leave-of-absence. She became full time in 2005, and has since moved into the position of Development Coordinator. In this position, Chris greets visitors to the Foundation, accepts donations, provides administrative support to the Executive Director, as well as planning in-house events, helping with third-party events, coordinating mailings and raffles. Chris is the Foundation’s Worker Rep on the Health and Safety Committee and has completed Basic Certification and Workplace-Specific Hazard Training. In her spare time, Chris enjoys reading and spending time at her cottage with her husband Jim, and their three children.
 
Pauline Westmacott
Data/Finance Coordinator
Pauline had been a volunteer at KidsAbility for a number of years prior to joining KidsAbility Foundation in 2007. Pauline’s primary role as Data/Finance Coordinator is to maintain all aspects of the Foundation’s financial records in addition to the donor database and receipting. Prior to joining us Pauline had worked in social housing in the UK for over 14 years in both property management and property development.
