KidsAbility is excited to announce the addition of two exceptional leaders, Geeta Grewal and Wayne Lew, who will be joining our Client Services Team as Vice Presidents of Client Services. Their extensive experience and dedication to enhancing healthcare services will be invaluable as KidsAbility continues to strive for excellence in serving our community.

Geeta Grewal, RN, BScN, MN, CHE will join KidsAbility as Vice President of Client Services. Geeta brings over 20 years of healthcare leadership experience including extensive work in program development, quality and safety, and building inter-professional teams. Her career journey has been driven by a commitment to working with clinicians and teams to make a lasting impact on individuals and families served. Geeta’s comprehensive background in both acute and post-acute care offers a robust perspective to further enhance KidsAbility’s exceptional services.  

Geeta leads from a perspective of redefining what’s possible to ensure timely and equitable access. She has led various healthcare teams to transform the patient and family experience including: professional practice, clinical informatics, nursing, allied health and recreational therapy, quality and risk, privacy, scheduling and patient flow. Geeta has extensive experience in the assessment, development, and implementation of digital systems, driving significant improvements in clinical operations and patient care. She has supported and built high-performing teams to successfully drive transformational changes and improve care delivery in rehabilitation, surgery, complex continuing care, and outpatient ambulatory care.   

Wayne Lew, BSc Physiotherapy will be joining as Vice President of Client Services. Wayne is an experienced manager at St. Joseph’s Health Care Guelph (SJHCG), known for his proven record of leadership and dedication to enhancing early, exceptional, and accessible community client services. He has extensive experience in proposal development and program & departmental leadership for strategic initiatives including: hospital-based inpatient rehab, inpatient complex care, outpatient therapy clinics, long-term care therapy clinics and collaborative quality improvement projects with regional acute care facilities and other community partners.   

Wayne has a proven ability to build strong working relationships with clinical teams, internal and external regional stakeholders, community partners, and Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services as well as Ministry of Health program representatives. These relationships are focused on achieving scalable and sustainable growth in services for clients and families served. His leadership experience has extended to include securing additional funding for outpatient stroke therapy programs, developing and managing virtual care programs, and leading the relocation and integration of outpatient medical consult clinics, demonstrating his commitment to client-centered care and operational excellence.
