KidsAbility, in collaboration with McMaster University and CanChild, launched the ENVISAGE program in November 2024. Since then, two cohorts of service providers with 16 participants and one cohort of families with 6 families have completed the five-week online training.

The Envisage program has proven its success in the following ways: enabling families to access support sooner and feel more connected. Service providers have also refined their treatment approaches, emphasizing family-centered care.

This success is attributed to the dedication of the entire team, including Sue Gibson, Cynthia Lennon, Dr. Samantha Noyek, and the KidsAbility Facilitators and parent partners.
Looking ahead, KidsAbility is recruiting for new cohorts and preparing to launch the third cohort of ENVISAGE-SP in fall 2025. The ENVISAGE team will present at the 2025 Empower Kids Ontario Spring Symposium on April 16, 2025.
