KidsAbility and Tim Hortons: A Sweet Partnership

Since 2008, Tim Hortons has chosen KidsAbility as one of the recipients of funds raised through the Smile Cookie campaign in Kitchener, Waterloo, and Ayr. Over the years, this partnership has generated more than $1.2 million to support the children and youth we serve. This incredible achievement is a testament to the unwavering commitment of our volunteers and the generosity of Tim Hortons and its customers.

This year’s Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign runs until Sunday, May 4. The funds raised through the Smile Cookie Campaign will go directly towards supporting vital programs and services for the children and youth we serve. These programs provide essential resources for physical, communication, behavioral, and social needs, helping over 17,000 children in our community thrive.

Earlier this week, Jennifer Foster, CEO of KidsAbility, and Joshua Bakermann, a former KidsAbility client and longtime volunteer, enjoyed decorating cookies together and had the opportunity to speak to the media.

Over 160 KidsAbility volunteers have joined forces to decorate cookies, making a significant impact during National Volunteer Week.  Their dedication and hard work during the Smile Cookie Campaign have been nothing short of inspiring. From decorating cookies to spreading awareness, each volunteer played a crucial role in making this campaign a success. We are deeply grateful for their time, energy, and passion.

We invite everyone to join us in celebrating the incredible achievements of our volunteers and the success of the Smile Cookie Campaign. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community.

Thank you for your continued support!
