Kids Can't Wait Radiothon

On Friday, May 3rd, KidsAbility will hold its 14th annual Radiothon at Conestoga Mall. Join us on this special day by tuning in to our radio partners, CHYM 96.7, Country 106.7 and 570 News, to hear the triumphs of our children, youth and families. We invite your pledge of support to help make brighter futures happen!

To meet the demands of a growing community, we have to find a way to provide more therapy to more kids – in a timely fashion. That’s why we’re reaching out to you.

Please consider supporting the Radiothon on May 3rd by:

  • phoning 519.725.5437 to make a donation,
  • visiting us at Conestoga Mall to donate at one of our donation tables,
  • going online and visiting to make a donation today,
  • setting up your own personal fundraising page, or
  • spreading the word about the Radiothon to friends and family.

We hope to see you and your family at the Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon. It’s going to be a day to remember!

Calling All Schools!

Teaching kids about philanthropy is a lifelong lesson. Kids helping kids, experiencing it, is another. Last year over $18,000 was raised by kids in our community schools to support children and youth with special needs. Wow!

KidsAbility invites you to join us this spring to participate in our Annual Radiothon campaign to raise funds as part of our Kids Can't Wait Radiothon. This essential support helps to fund vital therapy, pediatric supports, needed equipment and more for children and youth served by KidsAbility in Waterloo Region and Guelph-Wellington. Our Radiothon takes place May 3, 2019, at Conestoga Mall in Waterloo.

Here are some ways that your school can engage in making a difference for children with special needs.

  • Adopt a Butterfly (students purchase a paper butterfly - the symbol of KidsAbility - for a loonie, a toonie, or any amount. Select a school wall or hallway to post butterflies with the name of a student on it. Our Foundation can supply paper butterflies or make your own creation!)
  • Create a fundraising page and hold your own fundraising event.
  • Make donations in honour of someone special, a teacher, a parent, a friend.

Your school can lead a fundraising campaign at any time during the year and can present their donations at a school assembly or at Conestoga Mall.

Schools have played an important part of our Annual campaign in an effort to raise funds. A wonderful accomplishment of kids helping kids! We are so grateful!

Please contact Chris Voisin at 519.886.8886 ext.1293 or email to let her know if you would like to host a fundraising campaign on behalf of KidsAbility!
