Carol Shantz Bursary Award
The Carol Shantz Bursary Award is awarded each year to a current client or alumnus of KidsAbility who is enrolled in post-secondary school. Established to honour Carol Shantz, a former KidsAbility School Educator and Principal who retired in 2001, the award recognizes an individual who, through effort and perseverance, is seeking to cultivate their potential to its maximum by pursuing post-secondary education.
The Carol Shantz Bursary information package will be available January 1st, 2022.
If you are a client or alumni of KidsAbility with plans to further your studies at college or university, you may apply for the Carol Shantz Bursary Award! Each year, one individual is chosen to receive a minimum of $1000 to assist with their goal to pursue a post-secondary education. Students entering post-secondary studies either as a first year or returning student for the upcoming September are encouraged to apply when applications become available in January. Deadline dates for submissions are announced at that time, and recipients can expect to receive notification in June of their application.
