Combination Behaviour Support Groups
Introducing Combination Behaviour Supports!
Group Therapy with Break-Out 1:1
sessions targeting specific individualized goals. Your child will spend the day
at KidsAbility engaging with peers in a combination of small group and
opportunity for one-to-one targeted therapy.
This full-day therapy option takes place in small groups of up to 6-8 children and includes individualized support
opportunities throughout the day. These sessions focus on building upon emerging foundational skills for communication, daily living skills, social and play skills, learning readiness and pre-academic skills, and self-regulation. It is ideal for children with moderate - to - limited support needs. Our Combination Behavioural Support Groups are planned and supported by Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), and highly skilled Instructor Therapists.
If your child displays challenging behaviours such as self-harm, aggression toward others, property destruction, etc., it will be important to first assess and begin intervention in individualized sessions before working in a group. Please see 1:1 therapy options to begin.
