A passionate, caring, and courageous leader who can inspire and motivate staff through an inclusive and engaging leadership style and will work collaboratively with families, funders, and community partners to ensure the continued success of its programs throughout Waterloo Region and the County of Wellington. 1.0 FTE HRIS Assistant
The role of HRIS Assistant will focus on supporting the organization, Human Resources (HR) and Finance team in administrative tasks, updating and maintaining HRIS, and responding to internal queries. The ideal candidate can assist with a wide range of tasks with various deadlines on a regular basis, communicate with numerous partners while embodying and support a welcoming, inclusive, and nurturing culture in line with KidsAbility’s Vision, Values, and strategic priorities. Up to 2.0 FTE Contract Communicative Disorders Assistant
The goal of School Based Rehabilitation Services (SBRS) CDA, under the direction of a Speech-Language Pathologist, enhances the communications skills of clients in partnership with their families, publicly funded schools, and their community. This is achieved through prevention, education, consultation, early identification, and management of communication disorders and contributing to the development of continuous quality improvement activities. 1.0 FTE Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (KAS)
The SLP will spend time in KAS classrooms to provide comprehensive speech and language support in an inclusive school environment. Through assessment, screening, treatment, consultation, and a focus on advocacy for communication issues, the SLP will help children participate and contribute to the classroom environment through careful goal selection and intervention planning. The goal of School Based Rehabilitation Services (SBRS) SLP is to provide support to children and youth to fully participate in school curriculum and school-based activities, in publicly funded schools. In consultation with the school team, the SLP will provide speech assessment, goal setting and intervention to enhance the communication skills of school-aged children in partnership with their families, publicly funded schools, and community.
