Up to 0.5 FTE Contract Communicative Disorders Assistant (ACS)

The goal of a CDA, under the direction of a Speech-Language Pathologist, within the Augmentative Communication Services (ACS) program is to support activities of the interdisciplinary team to co-ordinate services to clients who require an alternative or augmentative communication system and their families, and to enhance the communications skills of clients in partnership with their families, and their community.

1.0 FTE Contract Physiotherapist SBRS

The goal of a Physiotherapist within the School Based Rehabilitation Services (SBRS) program is to, in consultation with the school team, provide assessment, goal setting and intervention, client reviews, adaptations/ accommodations and equipment recommendations to school-aged children in partnership with their families, publicly funded schools and community. As well, provide support to children and youth to fully access and participate in school curriculum and school-based activities, in publicly funded schools by providing support with a variety of disabilities to maximize their physical skills and functioning level.
