Student Opportunities

For students enrolled in a clinical master’s level program, KidsAbility offers unpaid practicum placements in the following disciplines; Speech Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Social Work.

For students enrolled in college programs and undergraduate studies related to Communicative Disorders, Autism and Behavioural Science, Therapeutic Recreation, and Child, Youth and Family, KidsAbility offers unpaid placement opportunity.

A half or full day opportunity to shadow a KidsAbility clinician in one of the following disciplines; Speech Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Therapeutic Recreation. Job Shadow opportunities are also available with a team member of Innovation and Research.

A chance to explore one of the career opportunities available at KidsAbility through discussion with a manager of Speech Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or Autism and Behavioural Science, who will share their advice, experience and expertise, helping you to make an informed decision about your future.
