Accreditation

Since 2013, our commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability has earned us recognition from Imagine Canada’s National Standards Accreditation Program, a rigorous benchmarking initiative for Canadian charities in board governance, financial clarity, and ethical fundraising.

KidsAbility Foundation commits to act with transparency and accountability to its donors and has been accredited under Imagine Canada’s National Standards Program since 2013. The Standards Program is a Canada-wide set of shared standards for charities and non-profits designed to demonstrate their compliance in five fundamental areas: board governance, financial accountability and transparency, fundraising, staff management, and volunteer involvement. The Standards Program helps organizations mitigate risk by ensuring that staff and volunteers understand and meet their legal, financial and fiduciary responsibilities. Upholding these standards, along with our robust Ethical Fundraising Practice Policy, is crucial to maintaining trust and ensuring our donors have full confidence in our stewardship of their contributions.
