All behaviours have a reason to occur, even the most challenging ones to handle. Our challenging behaviour teaches caregivers the skills to observe and determine the function, or reason, behind why a child may engage in a specific behaviour, and teaches you how to address that function while meeting your child’s need. We talk about strategies to reduce the behaviour, and how to come up with replacements behaviours.
