About Us

Our mission at KidsAbility is to empower every child to realize their full potential

At KidsAbility, we support over 17,000 children and youth to reach their communication, social, physical and behavioural goals each year.

We support children and youth from birth to age 21 to navigate the entire journey from childhood to adulthood, whether they have a diagnosis or not. We believe providing early and exceptional family-centred services for the wellbeing of children and youth is the most powerful way to build brighter futures.

What We do

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide clinical treatment, specialized programs and therapies, and specialized equipment and resources for children and youth with communication, physical or developmental needs;
  • Provide access to clinical expertise, consultation and support for families;
  • Build capacity in the community through information, knowledge exchange and consultation with professionals and other organizations;
  • Participate in research activities in the field of children’s rehabilitation.

KidsAbility is funded through the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, valued community partners, purchase-service options and the thoughtful and generous support of our community.

Help create a world of possibility for kids with disabilities

KidsAbility Foundation exists to broaden awareness of the surging needs of our growing communities and the expanding demands for pediatric therapy services and treatments. We strive to transform the lives of children, youth and their families with prompt access to KidsAbility’s care.

To address this escalating need, we actively seek financial donations and inspire community contributions of time and talent to establish research innovation funding, support capacity building, and explore emerging giving opportunities. We invite everyone to join us in championing an inclusive community that values every child, both now and for generations to come.

Together, we can strengthen families and empower children and youth with disabilities to realize their full potential.
